According to market sources, a major Thailand producer has announced fresh PP and HDPE prices to Indonesia with increases from last month. This is in line with discussion with the producer earlier this week, who claimed to have reduced export allocation for July on production issues. Latest price list and changes are shown in the following table:

Despite better demand condition in local ground this week, Indonesian buyers are not ready to accept such increment from international supplier. A buyer said, PP market might be stabilising, however, we do not expect any hike on PE given low upstream costs and weak demand. Domestic materials are still much more competitive at the moment.”
