According to market sources, Sinopec Shijiazhuang Refinery Corporation is planning to shut its PP unit for a scheduled turnaround by 1 July 2017.
Based in Shijiazhuang, China, the unit has a production capacity of 200,000 ton/year. It is expected to shut for about 50 days, which will production will be resumed by 20 August 2017.
