It is reported that a major domestic PVC producer in Indonesia has announced June offers to local buyers with rollover from last month, standing at $910-970/ton, excluding VAT, FD Indonesia, cash term. Such movement is inspired by stable offers from major Taiwanese producer for June shipment despite domestic demand is rather sluggish amid Ramadan season.

A source close to the producer informed, “We are not facing inventories pressure as our plant restarted later than initial schedule. The basic demand in India is still there and the recent slowdown is mostly due to Ramadan effect. We think market condition shall improve in the coming month.”
