According to the Circular number SK.2717/AJ.201/DRJD/2017 from Indonesia Transportation Ministry, the country is applying restriction on the operation of heavy trucks during Ramadan period, from 18 June to 3 July 2017.

The Circular stated that vehicles with a permissible number of weights of more than 14 tons, including freight cars and trailer trucks are not allowed to be on national roads during the stated period. Such ban also applies to trucks carrying construction materials such as sand, rocks and coal.
