According to market sources, a major Malaysian producer has announced June shipment offers for PE to Vietnam with $30-40/ton reduction from last month, reaching $1330/ton for LDPE film and $1140/ton for HDPE film, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A local trader commented, “We might need to replenish some LDPE film cargoes this month as we have skipped purchases in the previous month. Prices dropped considerably and we are making losses at the moment.”
