According to market sources, Lotte Chemical Titan (M) Sdn Bhd has restarted its No. 2 cracker last Saturday, while planning to bring its No.1 cracker and downstream units online by today and tomorrow respectively. The whole petrochemical complex was shut on 9 April 2017 due to water supply issues.
Based in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, both of its crackers are able to produce 1.08 million tons/year of ethylene and 410,000 tons/year of propylene. Meanwhile, the company also has 390,000 tons/year of PP unit, 335,000 tons/year of HDPE and 230,000 tons/year of LDPE plant at the same site.
