According to market sources, Lotte Chemical Titan (M) Sdn Bhd has shut both of its cracker today (11 April 2017) due to a cut in water supplies.
Based in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, both of the crackers are able to produce 1.08 million tons/year of ethylene and 410,000 tons/year of propylene. It is expected to remain off-stream for at least 4-5 days.
