A Saudi Arabia producer has announced April delivery offers for both PP and PE to Indonesia with reduction from last month, following the general trend in the region at the moment.

The maker reportedly cut PE prices by $50-60/ton month on month basis to reach $1180/ton for HDPE film and $1220/ton for LLDPE film, CIF Indonesia, LC AS term. Meanwhile, homo-PP offers see $80/ton cut to reach $1100/ton and BOPP decreased $60/ton to $1140/ton with the same term.

Source close to the producer said, “This month we are not having large allocation as our plant just resume operation. Indonesian buyers are placing bids at well below the offered level, however, we might monitor further before making any decision.”
