Market sources reported that a major Taiwanese producer has revised April delivery offers to Asia market by $20/ton from initial prices given earlier this week, reaching $1010/ton to India and $950/ton to Southeast Asia and China, all based on CIF/CFR, LC AS term. Offers after the price revision indicated stable levels from last month.

Players across the region blamed the weaker than expected demand condition in India to be the main driver behind such move. A distributor added, “Sales in India is slow this month and even with the reduction, we are not seeing good respond from the market. We are currently monitoring further development before making further decision.”
