Indonesian players reported to have received fresh weekly offers from a major Thailand producer with $10/ton hike on HDPE cargoes while PP prices remain unchanged from previous week.

Buying interest in Indonesia appears to be flat with buyers showing limited interest in import homo-PP cargoes priced above the $1200/ton threshold. “This offer is technically higher than domestic material,” a buyer said. The source added, “Couple of other Southeast Asian suppliers have stepped back on their prices to Indonesia, therefore we believed that fresh offers from the Thai maker might face strong resistance.”
