A major Thailand producer has announced new HDPE prices to Vietnam today at unchanged levels from previous week. However, it is reported that allocation this time has reduced by approximate 50% due to some on going plant issues.

Latest offers stand at $1185/ton for HDPE film and $1190/ton for HDPE blow molding, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A source close to the company informed, “Our customers are resisting this new offers pointing to the available of more competitive Middle Eastern cargoes. We are monitoring further respond from buyers while having plan to withdraw our offers first.”
