Market players reportedly received lower offers from major Thai maker today with $10-15/ton cheaper for HDPE film and yarn to reach $1170/ton and $1175/ton respectively, and $5/ton lower for LDPE film and heavy duty to reach $1355/ton and $1385/ton respectively, all on a CFR China, LC at sight term, shipment on end of February.

A trader commented, “We received lower price today as most probably our supplier unable to conclude much deals after announced price hike yesterday. We are still waiting for feedback from our customers, but sentiments are getting slower with approaching Lunar New Year holidays.”
