A major Southeast Asian producer has announced February shipment prices for both PP and PE to regional market today with increases from last month, especially on LDPE cargoes.
In fact, latest offers indicated some $40/ton hike on all LDPE cargoes and $20/ton higher for homo-PP and PP random copolymer. PP block copolymer, meanwhile, jumped $30/ton month on month basis. Prices are at $1400/ton for LDPE film, $1440/ton for LDPE injection, $1470/ton for LDPE coating, $1140/ton for homo-PP, $1160/ton for PP coating, $1250/ton for PP block copolymer and $1300/ton for PP random copolymer, all based on CIF, LC AS term. These prices are valid for Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia market.
