Northeast Asian spot olefin sentiment has turned cautiously firm following confirmation that South Korea’s Korea Petrochemical Ind. Co. (KPIC) is taking its Onsan naphtha-fed steam cracker offline in Q4 2026 for a major scheduled maintenance programme.
