A major producer from Thailand has announced new offers today with a rollover compared to end of last week whereby HDPE film and yarn at $1180/ton and $1185/ton respectively, LLDPE film at $1270/ton, metallocene LLDPE at $1350/ton, LDPE film and heavy duty at $1380/ton and $1400/ton respectively, all on a CFR China, LC at sight term. LLDPE and HDPE cargoes will be arriving after Lunar New Year, and LDPE around beginning of February 2017.

A trader commented, ”Our supplier maintained stable offers this week as they managed to conclude some deals for PE films last week hence not facing much inventory pressures, but with the weaker market sentiment, there are $10/ton negotiation available for serious customers.”
