A major producer from Thailand has announced new offers this week to China with a reduction of $30-35/t for HDPE film and yarn to reach $1145/ton and $1155/ton respectively, $60/ton decrease for LLDPE film to reach $1215/ton, $50/ton cut for LDPE film and heavy duty to reach $1350/ton and $1370/ton respectively, as compared to last week, all on a CFR China, LC at sight term.

A trader commented, ”Our supplier did not managed to achieve satisfactory sales for the past few weeks after holding firm stance on the offers hence willing to adjust for larger price reduction today. We believed that there are some sales pressure especially for LLDPE as we are being requested to get the cargoes bundle with HDPE. We are waiting for further feedback from customers. ”
