As buying interest in China wan, Vietnamese players reported to have received re-export Middle Eastern LLDPE film at $1170/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term this week. Respond from the market is moderate, with couple of buyers have voiced their intention to negotiate for discount to purchase the material.

A market source said, “This cargo is shipped from Hongkong and could arrive by first half of this month. Our suppliers might not give too large discount given the promptness. However, it is very risky to accept the parcel at offer level, especially when sentiment in China is loosing steam.”
