According to market sources, a major Saudi Arabia producer has announced new homo-PP prices to Vietnam today at unchanged levels compared to last month, at $1040/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term, for January shipment.

Initial respond from market is not as positive as expected with a buyer said, “In addition to the increased in import duties, prices will be too high to accept. We have comfortable stock on hand and would prefer to monitor further movement before taking position.”
